It's About Theatre

Yes!!! It is about that time of the year. Mother Nature ~ she knows exactly what we need. The perfect weather for tasty and soothing, hot off the stove, delightful beverages.

Bundled up and off we go, there awaits the treasure trove of fine arts to explore.

did you know ~ It's ON Broadway or OFF Broadway

********************************************************

It, actually, has to do with SIZE! Although there are other more complex factors involved, the prominent factor is the size of the theatre.

On Broadway considers the size of a theatre that seats 499 patrons and greater.

Off Broadway would look like 99 seats to 499 &

Off Off Broadway is a theatre size of up to 99 seats.

Are you seeing The Nutcracker this winter? Or is it the History Making Phantom of the Opera? The wonderful thing is that, there are numerous productions on schedule this season. Beautifully, many choices are perfectly ideal for family, groups and friends.

No doubt that if you are fortunate to be in the Theatre Capital of the world (New York), you have access to the Metropolitan Opera, La Traviata, or The Magic Flute, or Carmen, or even Andrea Bocelli!!!

New York is just one of those destinations where the sky is the limit and so many experiences are at your fingertips.

But what if you aren't in New York? What can you do in your hometown? If you happen to be in the Charlotte, NC area then you would be delighted to see Carmen, or The Daughter of the Regiment, or Eugene Onegin.
